Bion Entertainment - The Band - jay Wimmer and the Big band All-Stars

The Excitement of a 17-piece Big Band comes to life with the hot Latin and American swing sounds of Jay Wimmer and the Big Band All-Stars.

Musical arrangements come from several sources including the classics from Glen Miller, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey and Count Basie. The band also plays current music from many top arrangers. And several members of the band also contribute their own arrangements.

The band has performed throughout Southern California since 1982.
Several members of band are swing veterans, having played with Stan Kenton, Harry James, Woody Herman, Les Brown and Buddy Rich. The band performs with various female guest vocalists. Their vocal styles will remind you of the famous singers of the past such as Ella Fitzgerald, June Christy and Hellen O'Connel.
